this is my broken ankle. i did it playing soccer. it hurt pretty badly.

the world cup has been incredible so far this year.  the USA has played out of their minds for two out of three games and i’ve just been having a ball watching it with friends and family.  i hope the tourney doesn’t end for us tomorrow, but regardless of the outcome, it’s been fantastic.

During 1970 in Mexico was the first time that what we think of as the ‘original’ soccer ball design was used in the World Cup. check out some of these incredible photos of balls from the history of the tournament. also cool are the lil blurbs under the balls. some are from particular matches. early in the tournament, each team would get to use it’s own ball for one half of the game. that sht is wild.
